Defense Rust Preventative Metal Parts Protector
DEFENSE forms a flexible, weldable metal parts protector. When applied, it will prevent rust and corrosion on all metal parts.
It affords long term protection for indoor or outdoor storage. Excellent for protecting materials while in transit. A 2 or 3 mil coating will provide indefinite protection for indoor storage, and 6 months to 1 year protection for outdoor storage.
A 5 or 6 mil coating will protect materials for up to 2 years in outdoor storage. Film is a transparent amber, easy to see through. Can be removed by washing with kerosene or mineral spirits. Once removed, parts can be painted.
It prevents corrosion due to salt spray and exposure of elements. Use on cables, hoists, pulleys, winches, riggings, machined parts, discs, pipe threads, castings, tools, jigs, stamped parts and more. Areas of use include boats, docks, oil rigs, machine shops, etc.
